Republicans lost the battle over the continuing resolution, having to settle for a pittance in budget cuts because the Democrats said a government shutdown would stop the troops from getting paid. Now Obama is saying that if the Republicans don’t raise the debt limit, the nation will default. I explain what Obama is up to and lay out a plan to stop him.
