Urgent To Back Scott Walker

By Dick Morris on May 31, 2012

Dear Friend,

On Tuesday, the fate of all our state and local governments — and of our schoolchildren — will be on the line in Wisconsin as the unions try to recall Scott Walker, the courageous governor who dared to pass legislation to limit their power. Please help him win!

Watch my video below on why we need to back Scott Walker.

We must re-elect Scott Walker as governor of Wisconsin in the recall election on Tuesday, June 5.! It is the second most important election of the year.

Here are the stakes:

1. If we win, it demoralizes the Democrats and shows how vulnerable Obama is in a Democratic state.

2. If Walker is re-elected, governors all over America will adopt his education reforms: abolition of teacher tenure, merit pay for teachers, and no contractual provisions that interfere with good education. But, if he loses, it will be decades before any governor summons the courage to move in this direction again.

3. If Walker wins, it will go a long, long way toward freeing state and local governments of the control of public employee unions which now represent 41% of their workers. Sovereignty will be returned to the voters.

4. If Walker wins, he will keep the current ban on government collection of union dues. Now that they are voluntary in Wisconsin, revenues are down by half, severely limiting the political clout of unions and the Democrats.

Not only if you live in Wisconsin. But if you care and you live in the United States of America!
