Nike, the sportswear company, has hired former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick to endorse its products. Kaepernick has achieved notoriety by beginning the protest by football players of kneeling or raising their fists during the playing of the national anthem at games.
To enrich and honor him for disrespecting our flag and the many veterans who died to keep it held high is an outrage.
WE, the Undersigned, protest the decision of the Nike Corporation to sign Colin Kaepernick to endorse their products. His leadership of the national anthem protests in NFL games should disqualify him from receiving our respect and our money. We will buy our sports apparel elsewhere!
