Partial Victory! IRS Delays Tea Party Rules

The IRS announced today that it would delay a public hearing on its proposed new rules to muzzle the Tea Party after getting 150,000 comments overwhelmingly critical of the rule change.

But the fight is far from over. The IRS will issue revised proposed rules in the coming months and the battle will begin again next year. Hopefully with a Republican Senate in power!
