According to the 5th article of the United States Constitution, the legislative branches of the states could get together and make an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would hold people in Congress accountable with the threat of perjury charges, if they do not uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution and to reverse any law that is unconstitutional, no matter how old it is. (This of course, would be with reasonable fading out, so that those who paid into something get their money back.)

The conservatives in this country have to stop being so soft. We have to stop being on the defense. We have to go on the offense. People will say that it cannot be done. But let me ask you this question: Did you ever think that what the leftists have done in last year, could ever be done?
