From Caroline Glick, deputy editor and op-ed writer for the Jerusalem Post, comes alarming news. An expert on Arab-Israeli relations with excellent sources deep inside Netanyahu’s government, she reports that CIA chief Leon Panetta, who recently took time out from his day job (feuding with Nancy Pelosi) to travel to Israel “read the riot act” to the government warning against an attack on Iran.
More ominously, Glick reports (likely from sources high up in the Israeli government) that the Obama administration has all but accepted as irreversible and unavoidable fact that Iran will soon develop nuclear weapons. She writes, “…we have learned that the [Obama] administration has made its peace with Iran’s nuclear aspirations. Senior administration officials acknowledge as much in off-record briefings. It is true, they say, that Iran may exploit its future talks with the US to run down the clock before they test a nuclear weapon. But, they add, if that happens, the US will simply have to live with a nuclear-armed mullocracy.”
She goes on to write that the Obama administration is desperate to stop Israel from attacking Iran writing that “as far as the [Obama] administration is concerned, if Israel could just leave Iran’s nuclear installations alone, Iran would behave itself.” She notes that American officials would regard any harm to American interests that flowed from an Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear facilities as Israel’s doing, not Iran’s.
In classic Stockholm Syndrome fashion, the Obama administration is empathizing more with the Iranian leaders who are holding Israel hostage than with the nation that may be wiped off the map if Iran acquires the bomb.
Obama’s end-of-the-year deadline for Iranian talks aimed at stopping its progress toward nuclear weapons is just window dressing without the threat of military action. As Metternich wrote “diplomacy without force is like music without instruments.” By warning only of possible strengthening of economic sanctions if the talks do not progress, Obama is making an empty threat. The sanctions will likely have no effect because Russia and China will not let the United Nations act as it must if it is to deter Iranian nuclear weapons.
All this means is that Israel’s life is in danger. If Iran gets the bomb, it will use it to kill six million Jews. No threat of retaliation will make the slightest difference. One cannot deter a suicide bomber with the threat of death. Nor can one deter a theocracy bent on meriting admission to heaven and its virgins by one glorious act of violence. Iran would probably not launch the bomb itself, anyway, but would give it to its puppet terrorists to send to Israel so it could deny responsibility. Obama, bent on appeasement, would likely not retaliate with nuclear weapons. And Israel will be dead and gone.
Those sunshine Jewish patriots who voted for Obama must realize that we, as Jews, are witnessing the possible end of Israel. We are in the same moral position as our ancestors were as they watched Hitler rise but did nothing to pressure their favorite liberal Democratic president, FDR, to take any real action to save them or even to let Jewish refugees into the country. If we remain complacent, we will have the same anguish at watching the destruction of Israel that our forebears had in witnessing the Holocaust.
Because one thing is increasingly clear: Barack Obama is not about to lift a finger to stop Iran from developing the bomb. And neither is Hillary Clinton.
Obama may have held the first White House seder, but he’s not planning to spend next year in Jerusalem.

Obama is an abusive man. And an abusive man will always blame those who he and his friends persecute. Nothing is ever an abusive man’s fault.
We saw person after person that Obama associated himself with as being abusive people. And we all saw him bow to an abusive king.
Obama is nothing more than a rich thug, who is a member of a rich gang. Problem being, his gang, could blow us and Israel off the map.

It had escaped me that Dick Morris is Jewish - thus it’s understandable that he’s keenly interested in Israel. So am I, although I’m among the “goyim”. This story reminds me of Joel Rosenberg’s novel “The Ezekiel Option” wherein Israel is faced with nuklear Iran and is about to initiate a first strike despite HEAVY U.S. pressure. The Ezekiel Option involves trusting God for the protection of Israel. The “End Game” as prophesied in the Bible (Ez 38-39; Zech. 12-14; Rom. 11; 2 Thess 2; and Rev. 7-22) points to Israel (the Jews) finally recognizing Jesus as their Savior, and their enemies are to be defeated by Him. Nevertheless, Obama’s latest tack clearly smacks of Britain’s Chamberlin abandoning East Europe to Hitler. The fact of Obama’s election portends a sooner “End” than had McCain been elected.

Obama continues to make speeches and say nothing by first starting with sentimental references, then stating a multitude of issues, followed by a long rhetoric to make you forget the initial question or issue, then dumping on others. Dick Morris is correct; his whole purpose is about himself and image (e.g., holding the first White House cedar). There was an article this morning on Fox News (27 May) that now Korea is threating war. Diplomacy with these rouge nations has and will never work. Interestingly enough we have heard nothing from Hillary Clinton. I am afraid this adminstration will be even less effective on foreign affairs than Carter. I have a feeling that the old saying, ‘you ain’t seen nothing yet’ is going to ring true.
N.B. For anyone unsympathetic to our ancestral brethren, please consider…Israel isn’t heading to oblivion quietly. Their summary nuclear reprisal will be launched from a Tel Aviv bunker. Targets? Guess we’ll have to wait-’n-see.

Dick, Israel will NOT be destroyed. Christians KNOW that Israel MUST be protected. I wrote this the other day - so here’s why:
WE NEED TO PROTECT ISRAEL!!
As a Christian you know the story of Abraham, then you know the importance and gravity of the fact that America needs to protect Israel!!
If you are not really familiar with the story of Abraham, here is an overall and very general synopsis. The story is found in Genesis. God knew that Abraham was faithful to Him. However, before God carried out His plan for Abraham, He needed to determine that Abraham’s faith was truly and completely faithful to Him. God started giving Abraham instructions on where he should go from the land he lived in that was very corrupt. God wanted to lead Abraham to the land of Canaan - which is Israel today.
Abraham followed by his faith and trust in God, except for one time. God told Abraham to avoid Egypt, however, Abraham ended up going there anyway. In short, as a test of Abraham’s faith, God sent him to a country that was disparaged by severe famine. Abraham decided on his own to go to Egypt when he witnessed the famine. God was not pleased. Because Abraham sinned against God, God brought great plagues to Egypt. Pharaoh, the leader of Egypt, blamed Abraham for the plagues and forced Abraham to leave Egypt. Abraham came back to his faith and trust in God and began heading to the land that God had spoken of.
From the Bible, this is what God told Abraham about events that would happen if Abraham trusted God:
Genesis 12:1-3 - (1) Now the Lord had said to Abram (before he changed his name to Abraham):
“Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. (2) I will make you a great nation; And you shall be a blessing. (3) I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
We all know that God loved Israel and the Jews. After all, Jesus was a Jew. The above Verse (3) tells the whole story!! God will bless us if we bless Israel, and curse us if we curse Israel.
