Virginia - Leaning McCain?
So says Dick Morris. But McCain has an uphill battle - to say the least….

My prediction is that I agree with most of what Mr. Morris has written. I bear in mind that Missouri (11), Nevada (5), and Ohio (20) are the three leading bellwethers—and they have each vote for the winner 20 of the past 25 elections (1908-2004). Of the five times they disagreed on the winner (Nevada in 1908 and 1976; Ohio in 1944 and 1960; Missouri in 1956), the two others agreed—and they picked the winner. I predict all three will agree—and vote for Obama, who win the election with an estimated range between 326-350 electoral votes.
Actually if one looks at how the primary results were compared to the vote at the ballot compared to the pre-primary poll, one will find that Obama’s polls numbers were always about 3 to5 points high. I feel as if there are enough people who have lied to the pollsters to cause this. they are not telling the real truth because they are racists, they lie because they do not want to be perceived as a racists. They fear peole will think they are a racists if they vote for McCain (or in the primary Clinton), when in reality they plan to vote for the other person all along.
